Assistant Director of Graduate Student Programming
Bok Center for Teaching and Learning

Rebecca Miller Brown recently joined the Bok Center for Teaching and Learning as the Assistant Director of Graduate Student Programming. She oversees and supports the Pedagogy Fellows program (formerly the Departmental TF program) as well as the Bok Seminars series. Previously, Rebecca worked with Academic Technology for the FAS as an Instructional Technologist. Rebecca completed her Ph.D. in Classics from Harvard in 2015 and holds additional degrees in Classics from Oxford and Georgetown.

Beyond teaching the Classics in higher education, Rebecca has taught Latin grammar to angsty high school students, coached youth basketball and soccer, and provided sewing and knitting instruction to both children and adults.

Rebecca originally hails from Wisconsin, which is evidenced by her love of cheese and the Green Bay Packers, and rarely makes grammatical errors.
